Ruby City hosts Water Ways. Over 50 works of art highlight water's many forms through drawings, prints, installations and more. The works are mainly drawn from the Linda Pace Foundation and Ruby City Collection. Water Ways runs through Sunday, July 28th.
Animal Care Services hosts popup clinics, providing pet vaccinations and microchipping. Services are limited to the residents every Saturday.
The San Antonio Public Library hosts Playthings. Michael Guerra Forester
explores the ideas of connection, play and memory through ceramic and soft sculptures. His works resemble toys and cartoon characters. Playthingsis on display at the San Pedro Library children's section.
The Magik Theatre presents The Big Friendly Giant. One-night, little orphan Sophie, is visited by a giant who takes her away to Giant Country. The Big Friendly Giant runs through June second with performances on Saturdays and Sundays.
The San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum presents its 2024 Black History Film Series. Screenings are once a month at the Little Caver. The Black History Film Series is open to the public.
